Moon Phases

Luther Students, Jill, Erik and Gabe, came to teach a short unit on the moon phases. Students looked at models of the Earth, Sun, and Moon to show how they rotate and revolve. The 4th graders also drew the moon phases and described how they are different. At the end of the time here with us they had the students make the moon phases with Oreo Cookies. The students enjoyed the "new" teachers and also the science unit put together by the Luther Education Students. We will have 3 new teachers in our room to teach us about the planets and more about the solar system.Erik helping Courtney with her moon phases.
